Exclusive Bunny Listening Ears

Get children excited about reading with our exclusive literacy-themed, one book at a time crafts. We designed a special bunny "listening" ears craft for the celebration of this Day because the key to becoming a great reader, is to be a great listener. Children can color in the craft and wear these special ears during read aloud time to engage with the book!

Printable and Instructions

Step 1: Print out the bunny listening ears craft

Step 2: Cut out the 2 Bunny ears in the middle of the page

Step 3: Cut the horizontal strip of paper (that says "one book at a time" along the dotted line. This strip will be the part that goes around the head

Step 4: Cut the second, smaller vertical strip of paper along the dotted line. Tape this strip to the longer, vertical strip from Step 3 to make a head band to fit the head. Cut the additional horizontal strip of paper if needed for a better fit.

Step 5: Use tape to secure the ears behind the

"one book at a time" strip.

Step 6: Tape the two ends of the strip together (to make a circle)!

The finished craft can be colored in as well.
